Q. How do I earn chances to win prizes?

A. You can earn one entry into the Sweepstakes by completing the online entry form. To gain additional entries into the Sweepstakes, you may submit a short essay (50 words or less) describing what secrets you employ in the kitchen to spice up your favorite meals using Goya products. Essay entries must be original as to content. 

Q. How many times can I enter?

A. You can earn one entry into the Sweepstakes by completing the online entry form. You can earn one additional entry per day by submitting a unique cooking tip each day.

Q. How many categories should I select when submitting a cooking tip?

 A. You should select the categories that best describe your cooking tip. You may select as many categories as you wish.

Q. What if I do not wish to submit a cooking tip?

A. You can select the check box at the bottom of the page that states, "No Thanks, I do not want to submit a cooking tip today."

Q. Why do I not see my entry online?

A. There may be a short period of time between essay submission and posting for the Sponsor to review your submission. Any essay deemed inappropriate, plagiarized, unsuitable for posting, or that has won previous awards or competitions will, in Sponsor's sole discretion, be disqualified from entry into the Sweepstakes, and will not appear on the Contest Site nor will entrant be eligible to receive the cook book prize.

Q. How will the winners be selected?

A. Sweepstakes winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The first 1,000 eligible entrants who submit a cooking tip will receive his/her choice of one of three Goya cookbooks.

Q. How many times can I win a prize or receive a cookbook?

A. Limit one prize per person/household and limit one cookbook per person/email.

Q. How do I know if I won?

A. Prize winners may be notified by mail, email or phone. The Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of notification.

Q. What are the prizes?

A. There are five (5) types of prizes:

Grand Prize (1) - A Kitchen Renovation, worth $25,000.

First Prizes (5) - Le Creuset 6 piece Porcelain Enameled Cast Iron Cookware, including: a square skillet/grill, a roaster, a covered saucepan, and a covered French oven.

Second Prizes (20) - Krups 10 cup Rice cooker.

Third Prizes (50) - Ekco 50 piece Cutlery & Gadget Set.

Cookbooks (First 1,000 entries) - Your choice of a Caribbean, Mexican or South American Goya cookbook, subject to availability.(See the official rules for more details.)

Q. How long will this promotion be offered and who is eligible to participate?

A. Sweepstakes begins at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on September 14, 2007, and ends at 12:00 p.m. ET on November 4, 2007. Open to legal residents of the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico, who are 18 years of age or older as of September 14, 2007. For complete official rules, click here.
